A must-attend event for the future of the cloud<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year, IC2E 2025 (IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering) is bringing together more than 75 experts, researchers, and industry professionals in Rennes. The goal? To share the latest advances and address the challenges of cloud computing, with a particular focus on eco-responsibility<\/strong>. Organized under the leadership of major figures such as Guillaume Pierre<\/strong> and Anne-C\u00e9cile Orgerie<\/strong>, both involved in the PEPR Cloud program (notably through the Steel and CARECloud projects), this edition highlights French innovation in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CARECloud, a project at the heart of sustainability issues<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The CARECloud<\/strong> project, presented at IC2E, is part of this dynamic. It aims to optimize the energy efficiency and resilience of cloud infrastructures, while reducing their environmental footprint. This is a crucial issue, given that data centers’ energy consumption continues to grow. By participating in this conference, CARECloud is helping to shape tomorrow’s standards for a greener and smarter cloud.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rich and varied program<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the agenda for IC2E 2025: 22 scientific articles, 5 industrial case studies, 10 demonstrations and posters<\/strong>, as well as three keynotes presented by international experts. Among them, Cristian Klein <\/strong>(Elastisys\/Ume\u00e5 University), Ada Diaconescu<\/strong> (T\u00e9l\u00e9com Paris), and Gr\u00e9gory Lebourg<\/strong> (OVHCloud) shared their visions for the future of the cloud, from edge computing to data management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is sustainability at the center of the debate?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

IC2E 2025 does not just discuss technological advances: it also questions the environmental impact <\/strong>of cloud infrastructure.
