Archi-CESAM at the RISC-V Summit Europe: A Contribution to Europe’s Technological Sovereignty<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

From May 12 to 15, the RISC-V Summit Europe took place at the Cit\u00e9 des Sciences et de l’Industrie in La Villette.<\/strong>
This event offered a unique opportunity to explore key technologies for industrial autonomy and sovereignty, particularly RISC-V International and open-source hardware.
Co-organized by CEA and Inria, the summit served as a hub for innovation and collaboration, with a strong presence from the Archi-CESAM project.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Program and Highlights<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The program<\/strong> kicked off on Monday, May 12, with tutorials and working group meetings focused on the latest developments within RISC-V International. From Tuesday, May 13, to Thursday, May 15, attendees participated in plenary sessions featuring keynotes, technical presentations, panels, and demonstrations. The event also showcased over 35 industrial exhibitors and nearly 180 posters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the notable presentations and posters<\/strong> from CEA and Inria were contributions on competitive approaches to scientific computing using RISC-V-based GPGPUs, high-throughput memory architectures for RISC-V cores, acceleration strategies for post-quantum cryptography, as well as explorations of RISC-V soft-core design and modeling for chiplet-based platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A major highlight of the event was the presence of the Archi-CESAM<\/strong> project, one of the eight initiatives of the PEPR Cloud<\/strong> program. Archi-CESAM aims to rethink hardware in order to enable co-design with applications, with a focus on converged, trustworthy architectures adapted to the explosion of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
