SLICES-FR@Lyon
From 7 to 11 July 2025, the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon will host the first edition of the SLICES-FR School. Co-organised with the PEPR Cloud and Networks of the Future, this free event will bring together researchers, engineers and professionals to explore advances in distributed computing, edge computing, reprogrammable networks and the Internet of Things.
As the French node of SLICES (Scientific Large Scale Infrastructure for Computing/Communication Experimental Studies), the main objective of the SLICES-FR school is to build an experimental tool that will encourage the design of new services and applications. By using a variety of technologies on all aspects of the data chain, SLICES-FR meets the needs of the scientific and industrial community.
